Kidsbridge Association is a non-for profit organization that runs a Kindergarten and Pre-K program in the Voyage Centre. Their goal is to provide an educational and inclusive environment in which all children are welcomed, and individual differences are embraced. We want your child to thrive in our classroom! To that end, our team includes certificated teachers, educational assistants, a speech-language pathologist and a counselor who support our students. Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy services are contracted as needed to support students with physical, sensory and self-help skills.
Free tuition and specialized services are available for any students who have been identified with moderate/severe delays/disabilities by a qualified professional (pediatrician, psychiatrist, psychologist, speech language pathologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist). In some cases, children who are learning English as a second language or who have mild developmental delays may also qualify for support.
Families are encouraged to engage in our Family focused approach and should feel free to share any concerns or questions they have about their child’s development when they register. All students who register will be offered an assessment with a teacher or speech-language pathologist prior to school entry.
