Dalhousie Community Kindergarten Society

We are a long standing independent Kindergarten program offering both Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten for 4 yr-olds. Our sole focus for over 40 years has been to provide a truly exceptional experience for our students and their families. We unique learning experiences to achieve our goals of preparing students with a solid foundation of academic learning, social and emotional development and growing confidence and enthusiasm for learning. Our learning takes place inside and outside of the classroom and adventures include daily outdoor time, field trips, skating and swimming lessons.

We are supported by an on-site out of school care program and preschool for 3 year olds or 4 years olds who aren’t ready for a Junior Kindergarten program. Our program includes small class sizes and spaces for children with support needs. We pride ourselves on providing children with a solid foundation and parents with access to our staff through ongoing communication, updates and interaction.
